J-Mo is a 2008 LHP with a 5'7" frame. Smallish build but strong. Don't be misled, strong and quick arm, 86 MPH Fastball, Long arm action, good arm stroke, quality stuff, Polished three pitch repertoire, mixes pitches well. John begins his freshman year at Cal State Bakersfield this season. Jonathan was with the Storm for four years and was the 2003 USSSA World Championship MVP. He also won the biggest game in Chino Hills Pony' history by shutting down Puerto Rico in the Semi-finals of the 2003 Pony World Championship. Everybody's favorite teammate, JMo went 5-3 this year, striking out 62 in 57 innings. His 2.09 ERA was enough to have him named on the All- Sierra League first team.

Zack is a 2008 graduate with a 6’1” 215lb frame. Great build, strong, and very fast. He has great bat speed and good power for his age. Lots of range in centerfield. Zack hit .380 this season with 9 home runs and 40 RBI’s as a senior. He was a 3-time Varsity Letterman. Zack spent 8 years in the Storm organization. He is a 3-time Storm MVP who led the team in hitting five times. He had over 1,600 plate appearances and hit over .400 lifetime for the Storm. Zeke, as he’s known to the Storm Family was drafted in the first round of the June 2008 MLB draft.

Phil Holinsworth is a 2009 SS with a 6' 185lb frame. Great growth potential. Long body looks to fill out nicely. Smooth shortstop, great hands, strong arm. Good power for his size, Great contact hitter who hits his pitch. Good head for the game, great composure under pressure. Phil joined the Storm as a 13 year old. He was part of the 2003 Pony World Championship and USSSA World Championship Teams. A great team player, easy to coach. Phil hit .350 plus for the Storm. Phil was a First Team All Sierra League selection in his sophomore and Junior years. Phil was a starter as a freshman and will be a four year letterman. Phil has signed a letter of intent to attend UC Riverside after his senior season.

Kyle Nutter, a 2008 graduate of Chino HS, now attending Citrus College is a powerful 3B with a 6'2" frame. Great build with room to grow. Strong, and powerful hitter with great stroke. Ability to hit to right field with power. Good eye, hits his pitch. Great glove at 3B strong and accurate arm. Kyle was name to the 1st team All Sierra League his Junior and Senior year. Nutter played for the Storm for 4 years and was the catalyst on the 2002 team that went an incredible 68-12. Nutter was the first 12 year old to hit the ball out of BLD for the Storm. He was a leader in RBI's and Slugging Percentage. Kylee, as he's know to his Storm has a very bright future ahead of him.

Jiovanni Mier is a 2009 SS/RHP with a 6’1”, 170 lb. frame from Pomona, CA. who attends Bonita HS. Selected as a top Prospect. Lean, long athletic body, fluid and easy movements, has gotten bigger and stronger over last year, really coming on, high level of ability, plays hard, likes to play, game comes easy to him, quick bat, hits to all fields, gets to extension, line drive swing, has some projectable power, lively swing, plus hands, top level defensive player, plus hands, plus actions, plays with ease, plus set-up, excellent feet, loose strong arm, plays with feel, over the top slot on mound, loose quick arm, athletic delivery, hot upper-80s fastball, low 90s coming soon, feel with fastball, curveball bites well, hard downward action, showed change-up, has moxy and presence, easy arm projects easy, major D1 prospect and good pro follow. Jio has played for the Storm since 2001. He was a member of the 2004 USSSA World Champion and 2004 Pony World Series Champion teams. A true leader, talented, coachable, and team player with a bright future ahead of him.

Ethan Miller is a 2009 1B/P with a 6'5"' 210lb. frame. Rangy body, listed as a primary 1B but advanced on the mound. His two- part arm action make him a D1 prospect. Ethan has verbally committed to San Diego State Good 86 MPH fastball, with good run, decent change up, and good mechanics. Shows good power at the plate. Hits his pitch, decent plate coverage, and good hands. Ethan was an All Sierra League second team player his Sophomore season, and a 1st team All-leaguer his Junior Year. He started at Ayala as a freshman and will be a 4 year letterman. Ethan, also known as 'Clutch' or 'Eman' by his Storm family was an 8 year player. He is a 3 time Storm MVP, who hit over .400 lifetime. Nobody better than Ethan with two outs and the game on the line.

Juan Guerra is an RHP/SS with a 5'10' 175# frame from Don Lugo High School. JC has a long loose arm with a great sinker and a good fastball. Good command of all pitches and throws great strikes. JC was instrumental in the Storms 2001 bid for the 10u Pony World Championship. He led the team through the Zone Championship and the World Series in Texas with a huge year on the hill. JC is a Freshman at Mt Sac this year.

Josh Brown is a freshman at Cerritos College. LF/2B with a 6'0" frame. Great build, fast bat, and good power for his size. Good arm strength, great bat, and an excellent gap hitter. Great growth potential. Very coachable and a student of the game. Josh has been in the Storm organization since he was 8 years old. He had over 750 at bats and drove in 300 runs in his career. Bats in the power spot. Clutch with two outs and runners in scoring position. Josh was an all League first teamer at Damien.

Andrew Melchor is a 2009 P with a 5'11"' frame. Great build with room to grow. Long arm, great arm strength. Legitimate collegiate slider, great curveball. His 86-88 MPH make him a definite D1 prospect. Andrew has great control. An all League first teamer as a freshman, Melchor repeated his second season with All League status and All Valley status. Andrew has been in the Storm system since he was 7 years old. He won more games on the mound than any other Storm pitcher. He was the 2003 Pony World Series MVP and was honored by being inducted into the Pony Hall of Fame in Washington, PA. Known as 'Nails' to his teammates because of his composure in pressure situations, Melchor will be a Pro Prospect after his senior year in HS.

David Rivera is a 2009 3B/P with a 6’0”, 195 lb. frame from Upland, CA. who attends Claremont HS. Strong build, thick but has athleticism, strong swing, aggressive set-up, nice swing plane, possesses some power but mostly contact approach, pretty short to ball, good opposite field contact, good arm, throws track, feet and hands work for 3rd base, solid defender, high ¾ arm slot, short arm action, low-mid-80s fastball, some late cut action at times, showed some breaking ball feel, strike thrower, good reliever type, showed change-up, mid-upper -80s around corner. David is a Storm Alumni, who played with the team in 2000-2001.
